Director of Operations – Health Care Management – Wound Care  

Our client, a national specialist in wound care, seeks a highly motivated, dynamic leader to serve as Director of Operations for their wound and hyperbaric center. As a key member of the management team, the Director of Operations is charged with overseeing all of the center functions including daily operations, marketing and sales, financials and employee relations. This position will provide an outstanding benefit and compensation package!

Partial responsibilities of the Director of Operations will include: 

Ø      Managing all center functions and activities to ensure goals and objectives are being met

Ø      Participating in strategic and operational planning including preparing center’s annual operating budget  

Ø      Reviewing, analyzing and tracking financial data including billing, reimbursements and center performance

Ø      Developing and implementing marketing plan to generate patient growth, volume and revenue

Ø      Conducting meetings / presentations with various community medical professionals to educate about the services of the center

Ø      Creating and cultivating a culture of open communication, positive working relations and accountability, as well as ensuring the highest quality patient care and satisfaction

Ø      Collaborating with other management personnel to ensure an on-going and effective safety program, including maintaining knowledge of regulations and compliance issues relative to the wound care / hyperbaric field

Ø      Developing an understanding of wound care concepts and hyperbaric therapy, including the science and equipment utilized 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 5 years successful track record managing staff in excess of 5 employees

Sales and marketing experience

Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel

Ability to interpret financial statements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Candidates with a background in health care management and / or wound care will be given top consideration.
